Alltogether i thought both the preperation for the filming and the actual filming itself went really well.
As preperation we had many meetings and lessons as a group to discuss the day of filming and make sure all the shot lot, storyboard and designs were all ready. We constantly updated each other on what we had achieved or what was progressing. Max had all the storyboard and the shot list ready for the day of filming, and Chelsea had produced all the designs and everything so i thought we were really prepared for the day.
Everything went really on the actual day, all the group arrived on time and so did the band members. Setting up the stage and cameras was really easy and we all knew what to do. So when it came to start filming we were all prepared, the actual filming of the shoot went really smoothly. I thought the communication between the group and the band was well managed.

20th January
I organised for us all to have a group meeting to disucss what we needed to do and what was going to happen on the day of filming. I asked everyone to meet in our sixth form common room at 9:15. Chelsea and Max arrived on time but there was no sign on Zoe. We knew Zoe was in school becuase i saw her earlier that morning. She said to the group two days before when i organised the meeting that she did have a lesson first thing on the thursday morning but would be able to miss 15 minutes at the begining of the lesson to attend the meeting. As fas as i was concerned there was no problem with her teacher with that so i thought she would attend. We waited 5 minutes to see if she was coming but unfortunatly she didnt come, so we carried on with the meeting and filled Zoe later that day. We discussed Max's storyboard and the shot list he produced, i handed out the production schedule to Max and Chelsea, and we all looked over it. This meeting lasted 20 minutes and i found it very usefull.
Day Of Filming
Everyone arrived on time for the shoot. Which was specified on the production schedule, i arrived at an earlier time of 12:00pm to help the previous group out with their filming. When i arrived they had already finished and the band members were just leaving to go to Spice Land down 10 minutes away. I wasnt to sure what to do then as our teacher wasn't there either. When all the other members arrived at 1pm we all helped each other to set up cameras and the stage. Chelsea wasn't keen on all the loose wires from the microphones which we all agreed with so we changed the look of that and moved some equiptment around. Max then ran through the shot list and the storyboard with me, Chelsea and Zoe so we all knew what was going on. This showed very good communication skills in my opinion. The Lead singer arrived at 2pm with her son, we all indtrocuded ourselves and chelsea ran through the look she wanted with the lead singers. She then discussed dresses with her and how they were to appear. After numerous amounts of discussion between the group about the filming, the band them arrived at 2:30pm. They got changed into their chosen clothes which where a black shirt and black trousers. They all were rehearsing different songs to prepare for our shoot. At 3:00pm the other two girls who were singers arrived. We could then finally get on with our shoot at the allocated time. Max then ran through the storyboard and the shot list with the band members and singers before we began. Whilst he was doing this me and Zoe were discussing different filming shots and how we were going to film them. Connor helped us move things around to stand the cameras on aswell. Once we started filming i thought it ran very smoothly we filmed a lot of times all filming from different angles and positions and Max had asked us to do.
I think the whole day ran very smoothly, and i am very proud of my group.

Production Schedule
As producer i produced a production schedule for all the members of the group and our teacher. Inside the procution schedule was a list of all our contact details, numbers and emails of all the band members and all our group and our teachers. Also i included all the emergancy numbers in Sawtry, Peterborough and Huntingdon, Fire Stations and Police Stations. I concluded a risk assessment in the production schedule warning everyone of the loose wires and fire exits and how we will overcome them. I also located the venue with directions and a description of the hall its self. I then allacoted a specific time for the members of our group to arrive at the hall in preperation for filming. I asked everyone to arrive for 1pm on Sunday the 23rd January so we could set up the stage and the cameras for 2 hours and then start filming at 3pm till 6pm. I printed out and gave a production schedule to every member.

10th January
Chelsea sent me and email, with some questions that needed to be answered by Ian. So i have copied the questions and re-worded them into an email and sent it to him.
This is the email:
"Hi, just got a few questions we need to be answered if thats okay as soon as possible,
-have you sorted the location? do we need to speak to anyone about it? 100% definitely able to film on the 23rd and have all day in there. (Need to make sure there is enough time for the other group in the morning and enough time for us in the afternoon just in case they take longer).
-Is it possible to get a preview of the place?
We need to see the size of the stage so we can work out how the layout of the band is going to be.
We also need to know what sort of lights they have so we know what we are working with and can adapt our ideas to their equipment to save any complications.
If we know what is there we can see how easy it would be to change the set so our video doesn't look exactly the same as the other groups video despite being a different band.
-Can you get hold of 3 old style microphones, like the jazzy ones - if we look for them as well as you we are more likely to be able to get them.
-Which one out of the three singers is doing the lead vocals (Chelsea I need to know for sketches of the band layout, set design etc.)
thanks"

Lryic Sheet
Does he love me I want to know
How can I tell if he loves me so
(Is it in his eyes)
Oh no, you'll be deceived
(Is it in his eyes)
Oh no he'll make believe
If you wanna know if he loves you so, it's in his kiss
(That's where it is)
Is it in his face
Oh no, that's just his charm
In his warm embrace
Oh no, that's just his arms
If you wanna know if he loves you so, it's in his kiss
Oh, Oh, Oh, hug him
Squeeze him tight
To find out what you want to know
If it's love, if it really is, it's there in his kiss
oh, oh, it's in his kiss
How 'bout the way acts
Oh no, that's not the way
You're not listening to all I say

'The Shoop Shoop Song' - Video
The Shoop Shoop Song - Its in His Kiss was originaly written by Rudy Clark, It was recoreded by dozens of artists and groups around the world, but the song became an internation hit when remade by Cher in 1991. This has a motown theme so the video helps us to come up with ideas for our video due to the lighting, costume and props.
14th December
On the 14th of December we had a visit from one of the band members, Ian. We ran the name 'The Harmonettes' by him and he really liked it and thought it would work well so he said we would check with the other band members later that day. Also we discussed if we were still going to do 'All the Single Ladies' but he then told us that it probably wouldnt happen and would need to come up with another song that the band members new as they hadnt yet done a practice together let along a recording. So we asked to be confirmed the song as soon as possible and to have a recording so we could get on with some idea for our video. I ran by him our ideas for the location, and he came up with the idea of using St.Neots, Peppercorns theatre hall which has newly been opened so we have agreed on that. Ian then confirimed none of the other members could do the dates we had set for filming so we then decided on the 16th January, but Ian then realised they wouldnt be able to make it so we have now come to the conclusion of the 23rd January. Both our group and 'Group Therapy' are filming on the same day at the same location as part of their band members are also in our band. This casuses a concern as orginally Mr.Sheppard said we would idealy need a whole day to film and then extra time after that day to go back and film any mistakes. This could be tricky and as have a limited number of hours now and our deadline for filming is th 21st January so if we do make any mistakes on the 23rd we dont really have a lot of time to go back over it.
I then recieved another email from Ian the next day,
"Hi Molly,
As Brendan may have already told you, here are some answers as promised yesterday.
1. The others liked the name of The Harmonettes.
2. The song will be videoing is confirmed as The Shoop Shoop Song
3. The band are all available for Sunday 23rd January in the afternoon from 2.30pm to shoot the video. (we are hoping to video the other band, Group Therapy, in the morning)
4. I attach 3 photos of the girls who will be singing in THe Harmonettes- Kerry, Kara and Kay. These were the on ly suitable photos I could find trawling through their Facebook albums.
5. I was unable to contact Peppercorns theatre yesterday but will try again tomorrow morning as I am busy for the rest of today.
If I have missed anything, please do let me know.
Cheers
Wurz"
He also attached three picture of the girls, for Chelsea so she was able to get on with the designs for the girls dresses and come up with various different ideas to discuss with them.

13th December
On the 13th of December as a group we decided on a band name, as we like the motown theme we had to research different motown names, mostly ending in "ettes" and starting with "The" so we went along them lines and came up with lots of different ideas. Chelsea came up with three, 'The Sevenettes', 'The Somethings' and 'The Harmonettes' we decided as a group the most appropriate and appealing name was 'The Harmonettes' but we would need to run this name by the band first before we could officially use it.
Futhermore we had a discussion on different locations we could use to shoot our vidoe. I wanted to go for a wedding stlyed theme which in that case we needed an open hall space with a stage, most places we could think of either didnt look like a traditional wedding venue, were to small or weren't very appealing. One place we did come up with was the school's main hall but after a discussion we decided the background wasn't appropriate and the style of the curtains on the stage it just all didnt fit in with our theme very well. So we said we would have a think and when we saw each other the next day we might have some more ideas.

Initial Questions
At the begning of our task we came up with a number of questions we wanted to be answered from the band. As we didnt recieve answers for quite some time it meant as a group we weren't able to continue with out task the questions we wanted to find the answers for where:
"Hi Molly,
Here is my e-mail address for you.
I will speak to the band and ask about a videoing date and also about which song to perform and get back to you as soon as I can.
Cheers
Wurz"
- Does the band approve of our idea of being a Motown themed band?
- What song where they going to play for our music video, and did they have a recording?
- Have you got any pictures of the three girls so that Chelsea can work on the design of the dresses?
- Can you think of any suitable locations?
- Can you film on either the 4th, 7th or 11th of january?
